Some students prefer using the calendar feature within Canvas for monitoring their work. It's important to note that the Canvas Calendar can be impacted by a number of variables that may make this resource not provide information the same for all assignments. We do not suggest using the Calendar as your only point of reference for upcoming work. Remember, your Modules section will list all expected work, including items that do not have submission or points attached.
In general, lessons that use a platform/system outside of Canvas will not function in the Calendar the way assignments within Canvas do.
One thing you can try instead is using List View from the Dashboard. This will show a To-Do list and Canvas will automatically check the box when you complete an assignment. You can also manually check the box as you go if you want.
