A student's assignments can be found in a few different spots. This could vary by course, as each teacher has the ability to hide course navigation items (see below).
Each of these items can be hidden.
Assignment locations Include:
- Dashboard
- Modules
- Syllabus
- Assignments
- Quizzes
- Discussions
- Grades
1. Dashboard -- The Dashboard will display a To-Do list of assignments (sample below).
2. Modules -- The Modules area is the most common area you'll find course content. Typically, assignments, quizzes, and discussion boards will be listed here.
3. Syllabus -- This area displays a list of all assignments and due dates (if the teacher has added due dates).
4. Assignments -- This area is often hidden, but some teachers choose to make it visible to students. It will display a list of all assignments and due dates.
5. Quizzes -- This area is often hidden. It will display only quizzes (not all assignments).
6. Discussions -- This area is often hidden. It will display only discussion boards (not all assignments).
7. Grades -- The Grades page will display a list of assignments and the grade earned. You cannot submit an assignment by going to this area.
Again, these options could vary. Teachers have the ability to hide the items listed above.
For example, you may not see "Quizzes" in one course, but you may see it in another course.
